Ben has been fixing my bikes for years. He's a top rate mechanic with competitive prices. No job is too big or small, and he's really flexible if you find yourself in a hole. Nice bloke too. Just about everyone I ride with uses him and I've never heard a bad word said. Highly recommended.

Ben managed to fit my bike in for a repair and service when everyone else said there was a 2 month waiting list. He did an excellent job of making a 10+ year old bike handle like brand new again and at very reasonable cost as well. Would have no hesitation in recommending his services. Great job. Thanks.

Ben is awesome! When all bike shops in the area indicated a 2 month wait to service a bike urgently, Ben, even though he was clearly extremely busy himself, agreed to take a look and then turned it around in a couple of days. It was such a good experience I asked him to do another two bikes consecutively and he turned them around in no time. I have a good idea of the cost of necessary parts for all three bikes and together with labour, this was extremely competitive. He was always professional and friendly. Very impressive customer service and at no time did I ever feel ripped off. I have no reservation in recommending Allied Cycles and have done so with friends already.

Started using Allied Cycles after a recommendation from a fellow cycling club member and must say very glad I did. None of the often-seen bike shop arrogance. Instead, a friendly and extremely knowledgeable team of mechanics with a refreshingly pragmatic approach to fixing problems rather than upselling components. Great communication, engaged customer service, non-arrogant no ‘come back in 6 months when we have a free slot’... Doesn’t sound like most high street/chain bike stores does it? No, very different. Allied cycles are great and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Ben and team sorted my bike and turbo trainer out and have been patient with me as I variously misdiagnosed what was wrong in the first place. Thanks again guys.

Too many bike shops/car garages seem to fall into that category where you just feel intimidated to even go in!
