This company is excellent I had a car crash through my home it was totally wrecked I was devastated. This company was assigned to doing the rebuild words cannot express the way this company carried out the repairs they are excellent and professional they are reliable trustworthy friendly efficient they have excellent timekeeping excellent customer skills and customer communication. The manager Darren Oliver is very hands on and efficient he keeps you updated on a day today basis regarding the progress of the work they are doing. If you ever need any building work done I would highly recommend you use this excellent company. I was more that happy with everything they did to rebuilding my home. Thank god this company was assigned to my property. So I would give this company 💯 as 10 out of 10 is just not enough for the efficient work which they carried out.

I have used CSBD on many different projects, from office refurbishments to shop fits and also on my personal home. The service has always been exceptional, nothing too much and a level of integrity and professionalism that you rarely see in the building industry. Always on time and hit the deadlines. Pricing is honest and they have always said “we will never be the cheapest but we will deliver” and this was the case. On one large job, even though the price wasn’t the cheapest, we went with CDBD because it was felt that they would do the job in the manner we required and in the tight timescale. And it WAS. Would have absolutely no issue with recommending CSBD to other companies or individuals, in fact I have on many occassions and they have never let me down.

Appointed by my insurers after devastating damage to my listed home from major ingress of water. From first to last their team was courteous, helpful and professional. Plans and timetables were always delivered. Above all communications within the company and with me were exemplary. Problems were constructively and willingly addressed and communications with third parties were frictionless.

I have never written a review on Google before, but the previous comment by Mr Hammerson describes an experience so contrary to my dealings with CS Building and Design that I felt it important to record it here. A vehicle collided with my 18th century listed barn causing substantial damage. After 9 months of frustrations with various professionals trying to decide how best to repair the barn it was only when CSBD were contracted to carry out a full demolition and rebuild ( after a procurement exercise where they were easily the winners in terms of price and quality) that things began to move at pace. Charlie Marriott spent many patient hours with surveyors, loss adjusters, conservation officer and an engineer to agree the scope of work. It was only once he became involved that I felt confident there was someone who understood what was required. He kept in.regular contact with me as the work progressed, highlighting any issues and offering advice. The team worked through the very cold weather of January and February finishing ahead of schedule. The quality of the work is exemplary. The team worked very neatly, were extremely polite and very mindful of the need to minimise disruption to my family and neighbours. Charlie's leadership and absolute focus and pride on the quality of the work was magnificent. I would absolutely recommend CS Building and Design. The craftsmanship and attention to detail of the team, and the personal commitment shown by Charlie to ensure a top quality job was exemplary. I'm very grateful for the work they have done.

Beware! You will be beguiled by amazing polite, well mannered, butter would not melt in my mouth pre contract service but this is nothing like I got once the contract was signed. Deceit and lies, short cuts, substituted cheaper material not to mention broken promises. Don’t turn your back for a moment. I checked twice a day, but they still pulled dishonest dealings when I was not looking. Be particularly aware of a project manager whose initials remind you of the manufacturers of roasted peanuts.
