Excellent Americano and sausage bap as always - can't go wrong with that combo.

Great coffee shop, best Americano for miles around. Good selection of food and cakes. Had a sausage bap which was excellent. Lovely staff, nice relaxed atmosphere and cool music. Who needs Costa eh?

So took my gran son for lunch, had a cheese panini, that was ok, a bit flat and overdone. But the sausage bab, was inedible, the sausage was so dry that my gran son spat it out. When letting them know, I was told they cooked the sausages in the morning (no doubt microwaved it to heat). No offer of refund or another choice. The service was poor too, food came 10 mins apart, not especially friendly. No glass for my drink and expensive for the below standard of both food and service. Whilst I finished my sandwich, they started sweeping the floor. Yummy. Also several security issues. Right in front of counter the little lights are hanging free air into and old socket. And the box covering the electric meter is totally loose coming off wall. The cafe is cute and people there (not the staff) made it nice - but we won’t be back.

I visited today and ordered an almond croissant. It was slightly burnt, but for around £2, it was acceptable. Then, I ordered a coffee, but it took five other orders being prepared before mine. When I asked the boy about my coffee, he was rude, told me that "I should be patient and wait " 🤔turning his back to me .His colleague stepped in to make the coffee but did so without an apology or any effort to make amends. While the coffee itself was good, for the price, you'd be better off going to Gail's, where the service and atmosphere are far superior.

My favourite coffee shop in Harpenden. Loveliest staff, great music, great coffee & smoothies. I often spend hours here on my laptop, great stable WiFi connection. Pet friendly☺️

Light furniture and usually busyish atmosphere means a regular buzz of conversation, which is fine. Coffee machine loud, which kind of kills conversation on and off but, in a small space, maybe that's inevitable. Nice coffee, limited savoury food options, which is their plan, I understand. If you want a tasty bacon bap or foccacia, they're good. Yogurt bowls - not tried them yet. OK cakes. Service with a smile now. My real reservation is STILL the too anodyne and TOO LOUD bass-heavy music, bit too loud, which was a distraction and an intrusion - no chance of concentrating on notes or writing or reading . Some great jazz or maybe more ambient, less intrusive and QUIETER background might be nice. I'd not been back for a while because of the music intrusion and unfortunately, as nothing has changed, I doubt I'll be back again. Shame. I understood from someone a while back that the owner insists on it being loud so people can't overhear other table conversations. Trouble is, the loud also makes conversation difficult. Turn it down, owner!

Very nice dog friendly cafe. Nice ladies, good pot of tea and fresh cakes. Even dog biscuits for our two hounds! Nice clean toilet. No substantive parking as far as I could see.

A new identity for a neighbourhood coffee shop. Ideal for a cake and coffee or afternoon tea. Limited but delicious breakfast options. Good WiFi. Pleasant atmosphere with pale wood and lots of USB ports to charge your devices. Friendly service. Best flat white in town. Dog friendly. Owned by a celebrity chef - cook books available.
