I had my fitted wardrobes done at Harpenden bedrooms and they were the best for the service, options and price. I check out five places and they were the best on price. The look that I wanted in my bedroom was white with rose gold handles and they look very stylish. I paid for the extra LED lighting for the wardrobe and this was perfect. Also in my daughters bedroom I wanted to remove one of the fitted chest of drawers which was removed to be recycled. Harpenden bedrooms then designed a desk was them fitted were the drawers. My daughter is also very happy with her new desk. Everyone from the designing and fitting the wardrobes were really friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Sonia, I had exactly the same experience as you. Horrible office manager to deal with and demanded a deposit or said the prices would go up from the quote. Then made me pay almost in full or they wouldn’t go ahead. I had to go ahead as I couldn’t loose the deposit, and I regretted it. Exact same problems with plans and assuming what I would want rather than asking me if I wanted a full height door (which suited them it seemed) or one that matched my other doors. Some of the work was ok but products look a bit cheap and drawer was left with no handle and doesn’t work not as runner broke. Emma, I don't appear to be able to reply to you so I will edit my original post. I really hoped I would never have to deal with you again to be honest, as I find you argumentative and offer poor customer service, so I had no motivation to "get in touch" with you. I did however, want to share my experience with Sonia and others so they know what they are getting into, which is my right. The door frame move did not save any costs but all my doors match. I had to purchase my own handle and get someone else to fit it. Please do not contact me again.

Hi I have had a bad experience with this company which has led to this poor review rating. I have agreed to remove the detail of this experience posted two days ago as the experience seems to have been driven by the actions of a single employee who has now been removed from the project and the company seems to be making positive efforts to remediate. This is my rating at this point in time as a result of that awful experience it could improve in future if the remainder of my experience is positive.

My partner and I are so pleased we chose Harpenden Bedrooms to fit new wardrobes. Professional and helpful service from Andrew and Emma. Excellent fitter who completed the work on their own and to a very high standard. The wardrobes are just what we wanted, giving the bedroom a real "lift". Our thanks to everyone.

I'm am absolutely delighted with my new wardrobes. The team (Andy, Emma and Tony) were first class to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble, the communications were fabulous and the workmanship superior class. The sliding doors operate so smoothly I am thrilled. They helped plan everything to maximise the space, and created bespoke interiors to fulfil my needs. I was so happy with the wardrobe, I then ordered a matching set of drawers and the mirror to finish it off. From start to finish, even with Covid restrictions and delays as the colour I choose was limited availability, they were in regular communication keeping me updated and when it came to the install the work was fast, efficient, clean and well organised. My overall price was very competitive compared with the bigger brands that offer a similar service and I am glad I choose this company. I am already planning my next room and will certainly be using Harpenden Bedrooms again.

We chose Harpenden Bedrooms after reading previous reviews, and we were not disappointed. We received excellent service from the beginning, starting with Andrew calling and working out the design for our wardrobes which had to incorporate a chimney breast. He did a wonderful job and so did Tony with the fitting of the wardrobes/cupboards/mirrors. Also thanks to Emma whose emails kept us up to date with information. Would definitely recommend this company to anybody.

We are extremely satisfied with the installation of the bespoke wardrobes in our master bedroom. Every stage of the process went well. Emma kept us up to date as the process unfurled. Andrew was extremely helpful and guided us through the design phase and advised us on finishes. Tony completed the installation. His work is first rate and we are really pleased with the work We would use this company again and recommend them unreservedly. It has been a pleasure working with Harpenden Bedrooms. The wardrobes are high quality and competitively priced.

We wanted a small cabinet for my wife’s hats and from the beginning we were pleased with the designer’s input and feedback about what would work or not. We had a couple of visits from the designer to finalise the order and we were impressed with the attention received despite the relatively small order. Harpenden Bedrooms (HB) made sure we were happy with the cabinet although there was an issue with one of the parts from a supplier. We constantly felt that HB did their best to deliver the original agreed design. They kept us constantly informed on the progress and offered to cover the extra costs without us even asking for this. The installation went smoothly and we are very happy with the cabinet. We would highly recommend them as a company that wants to deliver quality and want their customers to be happy with the product. We would definitely use them again!

This process was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We are underway with rennovating the full house and the experience with Andrea, Andrew and the team was seamless, smooth, and always professional. Our design needs were completely met and the times to meet for surveying, inital deisng, delivery and installation were completely flexible around 2 people who work full time in london. On installation day the carpenter was super professional and fitted the wardrobes within the day and they looked totally beauftiul once finished with minimal disruption. This experience has been fabulous and i wouldn't hesitate to recommend harpenden bedrooms and the team for anyone else!
