I have a problem with my hair at the moment in that it’s falling out in clumps and am seeing a doctor about it. I requested to wash my own hair and simply go in for a cut. I asked if they would consider reducing the cost seeing as I would not be getting a wash not a blow dry/finish. The answer was simply no. I have no time for greedy businesses.

Booked here for the first time with one of the junior stylist as my usual hairdresser was fully booked. I wanted layers and the layers were all cut within few millimetres of each other so you could hardly see it! She couldn’t even position the back mirror correctly for me to check! Had a great experience at the salon. Visited on 03/02/2020 for a full balayage. Had never dyed my hair before and was a bit anxious but Christina made me feel very comfortable and was extremely professional. Lovely salon, friendly staff and so happy with the result. Highly recommend!

It looks exactly how I wanted it to, especially as it was colour correction that needed to be done! Choral was so patient & professional and really took the time to listen to ensure my hair was done perfectly. 5 stars.

Had a restyle with Ellie. She listened to my ideas and cut thoughtfully, checking along the way that I was happy with how it was shaping up. I think it looks fabulous! Not only that, but as I was running late, she had to work past her shift and did so graciously. Very professional and would highly recommend.

Today was my first Browns experience! Always nerve wracking changing hairdressers, but I am delighted with the result. Excellent colour and cut. I have my next appointment booked in.

Parris is always very pleasant, courteous and professional. I never have to wait - I am promptly attended to at my appointment time, which means a lot to me. I am also very happy with my cut and colour. No negatives at all and I have been a customer at Browns for many years now - more or less since you opened in Harpenden. There are many salons in Harpenden but I have no reason to change.
