Booked a treatment for my mum as a birthday present. Whilst she enjoyed the treatment it is clear that alot of the staff are not trained in alot of the treatments they do there. I have heard this from friends that have tried this salon but I thought I would give it the benefit of the doubt. Very nice girls but such ashame when they actually tell you they haven't been trained fully to do specific treatments! Wouldnt go back I'm afraid. Would go to somewhere more professional.

I had a hot stone massage with Holly on Sat 9th November 2024. Whilst she was nice, the treatment provided was very disappointing and to call it a massage would be an overstatement. She spent half the time walking around the table to reheat the stones, had no technique, didn't place the stones on acupressure points, applied no pressure to relieve muscle tension and appeared to be improvising as the treatment went on. I gave my feedback to her and her manager afterwards but was offered no discount, let alone a refund. What was supposed be a relaxing early birthday treat from my husband turned into a waste money and time. Needless to say I will not be coming back.

I took my mum to the Cove Spa Harpenden for a luxury pedicure on Saturday 7th Sept as a special treat for her Birthday. I'm a Complimentary therapist myself of over 15 years & usually do my mums pedicures, however we thought a change may be nice and I could treat myself. Whilst the two girls were lovely, the treatments provided were no where near worth the cost or time we spend in the salon. No hard skin was removed, no cuticle 'repair' was completed (cuticle was still left on my nailbed etc) the hot booties we were put in were ripped & cold & the polish was too thick and dried bumpy & curdled. I requested a refund to my original payment method from the salon due to the treatment not being as described which as a consumer you are well within your right to do and receive, however all they keep offering is a gift voucher to use within 3 months, something myself & my mum do not want as i can't imagine the treatments being of higher quality in any other of their branches. To say i am disappointed is an understatement & I will not be visiting this salon or any of their branches again.

I just went there for massages which are in general quite nice and feels professional. The big BUT is , multiple times when having a massage it wasnt the full 45min . Instead they finished after 41 or 42 minutes. If i pay for 45min massage i would expect to have a full 45min and not just around 40. That is bit of a pitty for me and also its quite expensive compared to other possibilities around.

Amazing treatments at this lovely homely salon. Teresa, the manager, was so welcoming and helpful and my therapist, Danielle, who did my wax and lash lift was so friendly and very competent. All the girls at this salon are great! Very happy with the outcomes. Highly recommend!

Redeemed a gift voucher my friend gifted me. Experience of booking was smooth. Receptionist/front of house v professional, friendly and answered Qs. Massage itself was really lovely. Masseuse was very responsive to requests for varying pressure. Would return again for a massage.

Was treated to a 45 minute massage as a birthday present and had been putting it off purely because I was nervous about the experience. In the end there was nothing to worry about because it was a very welcoming, calm environment, the massage was amazing and exactly what I needed, I’ve never felt so relaxed! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience overall, I’ll definitely be booking another one in soon.

Just been for an amazing first experience at The cove spa Harpenden. I am pregnant and had a mother to be ritual treatment with lovely lady Skye...including back, hand and foot massage, decleor facial. She was very calming, attentive and ensured I was comfortable at all times. Would highly recommend. I have to thank the manager also as I received a discount email which later I found out was not for this branch but she honoured it in good faith (I must say to no fault of hers but the email did not specify this so it has been reported to directors). Will be back!

Having been a regular client for some time, I cannot recommend it highly enough. The service is fantastic, the treatments are amazing and it is great value for money. The lovely ladies that work here have always been very friendly, professional and have offered me some great advice and recommendations. I personally have tried a variety of treatments that are on offer, all of which have been faultless. It’s definitely worth a visit!
