Lovely food it's my go to take away

Very small portions of chips battered sausage was very over cooked and greasy ( threw half of it away) asked for salt and vinegar but couldn’t even tell they had put any on !! Eaten here before with no problems but looks like new owners :-(

Very Very Very rude people. Including the older man just speaking in his language abusing customers.The son also abused my family; threatening them. And I will be making a report to the police.

The food here was amazing... Fresh and tasty... The shop is very clean and inviting... This is not in my area but i wish it was.. It's my treat when I pass through the area. Well worth stopping by or diverting to if close by... Very pleased every time 😋😋

Order from their app as I normal do on 12/08/2023. It came by delivery at 7:30pm, when I order it for 8:00pm and could have been busy, lucky I wasn't busy, nor was Dad. When my Dad gave it to me on a plate, I unwrapped the sausage and put on plate, then open the chips, tipped them on the plate and then realised they were covered in vinegar. I am allergic to vinegar and spacifically said on their order check note page 'Salt only on chips'. They have now ruined my dinner and their phone line is completely busy or they've unplugged it because of to many complaints from customers. Won't ever order or go there again. Also a month ago, I order from them and it came missing medium portion of chips and had to have my Dad's chips instead. I have account with them and had used a loyalty voucher which if you spend £20 pounds or more you get £5 pounds off. Waste of time and money off, as I didn't get my chips. I thought I give them the benefit of the doubt and tried them again, a fortnight later and it was fine. But know it looks like they've gone back to their old ways of messing up orders. As I said before, will not order or go there again.

Probably the best Fish & Chip shop in Harpenden ! Staff always very friendly and albeit I normally order Haddock ( and have to wait for it to be cooked fresh) I must say it is always A1 . Last week ordered a delivery of fish & chips , when it arrived was piping hot , batter was lovely and crisp chips excellent. Keep up the good work .

I really really think this place is Underrated. Great big bits of cod and they have no trouble doing it skinless for me. Portion of Chips are huge. After prices go up I just get a small cod, I never eat it all anyway. And as a small business owner, I can’t imagine how difficult it is to run a place like this. They have little tables outside now. Staff turn over is quite big, but everyone are always nice and not like Godfreys where the manger literally treat his staff like dirt in front of everyone . I prefer it anyway over the pretentious overpriced Godfreys in town. Where I had a few really bad meals lately. This is my local. Keep up the good work Parking: Much easier then parking in town

FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER ! Fish and chips x2. £25 ! For the first time ever in my life I refused two portions of rock salmon from here. Freshly cooked but sadly the smallest of portions you have ever seen! The manager did however reluctantly exchange the fish for Haddock. I think possibly due to my assertiveness. The Haddock was an acceptable size , the portion of chips on the small size. Certainly only barely enough for one! Fish and chip supper is definitely now a luxury and due to the price should be of a high standard. I did not enjoy my experience this evening, sadly I won’t be returning here ! Maybe takeaway services need to review their profit margins instead of reducing portion size thus making them more accessible to the general public!

Got a veggie burger which was quite nice. Not sure what but something I just wasent keen on with the chips. Good portion sizes.

You must try the fried chicken 🍗 Chips and Battered sausage so tasty and batter on Sausage was so fresh Well DONE will be back
